Words To Live By:

There is a reason they are great!

Thought for the day from Don Mullen

I am a hopeless romantic, a sentimental fool, completely gullible and of course, an All American Boy! That said, I have been called Mr Happy, Polly Anna and other names I don’t care to type. All this introduction to say that I am affected by what I consider the brilliance of others. Not only what they have accomplished, but that I am affected by the clarity of their expressions and their comprehension of our existence. How they can encapsulate a sentiment or a statement about life with such clear and understandable verbage. So here are a couple of my favorites:
From Charles Schultz:
“Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, ‘Where have I gone wrong’.
Then a voice says to me, ‘This is going to take more than one night.”
Albert Einstein:
“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson:
“Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day. You shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.”
Just My Point of View –
As I recalled each of the above quotes, I must chuckle, must laugh, must sigh and always nod my head in acceptance. I hope your day is incredibly rewarding! Say thank you for it.

Regards – Don
